USA 2004, 86 minutes
Dir. Tom O'Dell
Rating: [PG]
Genres: Music, Documentary / Pop/Rock

Topics: Period 1960s.

Aroview: An unauthorised documentary about the iconic singer made in association with the Dylan fanzine ISIS, which despite featuring none of his music, manages to scratch up some new insights from, among other, 'Behind the Shades' biographer Clinton Heylin.

As the title indicates this covers the early years of Dylan's genesis as a musician and singer, struggling to make it as a performer in 1961 New York and finally transforming himself into a peerless songwriter. Includes interviews with Mickey Jones, Martin Carthy, C.P. Lee and various club owners and hometown friends.
