Aroview: A suprisingly innovative and ground-breaking documentary spectacle, in which actress Kirstie Alley (CHEERS) turned the tabloids' fascination with her "weight problem" against them by creating an entire series about it.

Partly scripted and partly improvised, this follows Alley's misadventures in food desires, medicine, social faux-pas and Hollywood sexism with an often nasty relish. While it often balks at truly confronting the issues it raises, one cannot help but be impressed (and entertained) at the results. Features a variety of guest stars, including John Travolta, Jeff Zucker, Wallace Shawn and Rhea Perlman.
