Aroview: Latter day 'City Symphony' about London, which uses the music of English group Saint Etienne to underscore its enigmatic montage of streets, buildings, parks and quirky hideaways of the capital on the Thames. Although a didactic voiceover adds appreciably to the pretentious tone, this has a whimsical airiness and suggestive poetry all its own.
