Domino

Aroview: Brash, hyperkinetic action rendition of the life and times of Domino Harvey (played by Knightley), the daughter of movie-star Laurence Harvey, who turned her back on modelling to become a tough-booted, professional bounty hunter.

Recruited into the often dangerous world of 'bond recovery' by a veteran of the industry (Rourke), Knightley finds sour-faced satisfaction in a more 'active' career, but also violent peril and a taste for amoral kicks. While the story is intrinsically fascinating and dir. Scott elicits solid performances all round, the movie is edited in perhaps the most stutteringly flashy, stroboscopic style of any mainstream film thus far - not for tired eyes this one.
