Aroview: A nicely-crafted documentary - if a little inconsequential - about the journey of an aging Cuban jazz pianist, Bebo Valdés, through Brazil, culminating in an explosion of music at the popular carnival of Salvador da Bahía. Featuring some lovely jam sessions (involving Brazilian legend Carlinhos Brown), this also has time to shine a light on a few personal stories elsewhere in the shanty town of Candeal.
