Aroview: Minor but admirable drama about a young man seeking to break away from his stifling life in Los Angeles with the encouragement of his stoner therapist (Goldblum), but getting repeatedly caught up in the criminal schemes of his hedonistic best friend (Caan).

Although the improvisational acting stumbles a little at times, this generally displays a heartfelt veracity when it comes to barroom dialogue and macho cockiness and overall the rough edges lend a certain live energy. Kelly Lynch excels in a supporting role.
