Aroview: Dreamy, melancholic melodrama follows the life and numerous loves of a society gal (Oberron) in New England over thirty odd years. Dir. Duvivier remade his earlier French hit 'Carnet du Bal' in true Hollywood tradition, adding dollops of production trappings but with heart mostly intact.
