Find Me Guilty

Aroview: An against-type Vin Diesel fuels this mob comedy from seasoned courtroom exponent Sidney Lumet, based on the shenanigans of one Jackie DiNorscio, who chose to represent himself in a landmark 80s mafia trial, with farcical results.

Shot with the same beady, intense eye as Lumet’s classic 12 ANGRY MEN, the script uses the real-life court testimony to comedic effect. While hardly as resonant as some of his best work, it features an affable performance by Diesel (complete with a ridiculous wig), and dialogue that snaps.
