Nazi Number One: Herman Göring

Aroview: German director Guido Knopp continues his straightforward, biography-centric investigations into all things Nazi with this documentary on Hermann Göring, the former fighter pilot who became Hitler's 2IC and was sentenced to death at Nuremberg as 'Nazi Number One', but who suicided in captivity the night before his scheduled hanging.

These three episodes contain recently uncovered colour home videos shot by Göring, as well as new and archival material, and focus on Göring's rise-and-rise - as well as his ultimate corruption by drugs and power.
