5. Fumed Oak - Nasty comedy based around the theme of the meek fighting back when suitably provoked.

6. Ways and Means - An idyllic stay at a friend's lavish villa on the French Riviera is interrupted by a thief.

7. Still Life - Three different couples air their dirty laundry in a station refreshment area.

8. Shadow Play - Chronologically unsettled story of a woman petrified her beau will leave her after an outing to a theatre production.
