Aroview: There was life before Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" and those expecting the like will be disappointed, however the original Fleetwood Mac was an amazing beast in its short time and Peter Green - its founding member - was a genius.

This sometimes-harrowing documentary follows the formation of the band through to Green's drug use and subsequent descent into schizophrenia, where he lived in society's shadows for many years. This film also examines the treatment he received through electro-convulsive therapy which not only prolonged his illness but also his absence from the music world, where he was to return in the 1990s. An often told tale but one that is done in equal measures of love and respect for the "Man of the World".

Interviews include Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Noel Gallagher, John Mayall, Carlos Santana, Jeremy Spencer, and of course, Peter himself. Contains songs such as Albatross, Man of the World, Oh Well, Black Magic Woman, and many others.
