Aroview: Revealing documentary on homosexuality and the Islamic faith, filmed in secret over 5 and a half years under the Muslim government radar. Although there is little room here for closure for any of dir. Sharma's subjects, the investigation between the two contradictory cultures is highly courageous, if not revolutionary. Ultimately though, one can only pity the plight of these men and women, for there's certainly not enough variance or colour in this to suggest a change in the cultural climate, with each story tragically bleak in its similarity to the previous.
