Aroview: A fascinating glimpse into the culture and belief systems of Tibetan Buddhism, this film follows devoted disciple Tenzin Zopa on a four year quest to find and identify the reincarnation of world-renowned Buddhist master Lama Konchog.

Serene Tibetan hillscapes and remote traditional villages provide a pertinent setting for this journey, which culminates in the permanent separation of a young child from his parents for the privilege of assuming Konchog's illustrious title - and the rigorous religious training associated with it. The child's parents accept this custom with alarming selflessness, and criticisms remain unexplored as the film assumes the viewer's unquestioning sympathy towards this perplexing tradition.
