Aroview: The Marx Brothers bring their revered and anarchic energy to this "post-war spoof of wartime intrigue" set in the Hotel Casablanca. Though it bears only a passing resemblance to the Bergman/Bogart classic, Warner Bros threatened legal action, prompting Groucho to respond "I am sure that the average movie fan could learn in time to distinguish between Ingrid Bergman and Harpo!"

The last important film the trio made together, it suffers by comparison with their glory days, but definitely still worth a watch.

4 stars (Very Good) There is wit as well as the usual enjoyable terrible jokes plus segments of excellent choreographed visual humour. The talented musical segments are the icing on the cake. ~Tubbs
