Let It Be

UK 1970, 81 minutes
Dir. Michael Lindsay-Hogg
Rating: [G]
Genres: Documentary, Music / Pop/Rock

Aroview: 'Fly on the wall' chronicling of The Beatles' recording session for their "Let It Be" album that unwittingly provided glimpses into the fractious dynamics building in the group - including Yoko Ono skulking in the corners and the infamous McCartney-Harrison exchange. Nevertheless the rooftop performance ending the film remains a rock-n-roll archetype.
