Aroview: Hugely influential show centered around the neurosis of Garry Shandling - basically playing himself, who along with the rest of the cast just happens to be aware that they are TV sitcom characters. With young writers who would later work on SEINFELD and THE SIMPSONS, this exploded the sitcom genre and "made art with the debris".
