“A moving look at what it means to be human in the most extreme circumstances, this is kitchen-sink sci-fi with an aching soul.”~Total Film

Aroview: The director and star of YOUNG ADAM return for this unusual take on the pandemic sub-genre, set in their Scottish homeland.

Centred around the love affair between chef Ewan McGregor and epidemiologist Eva Green, the pair find themselves in the eye of a bizarre viral phenomenon that deprives the population of their sensory perceptions. The concept works best as a "what if" scenario that intriguingly compounds, but its multi-disaster premise and the irrational grieving behaviour that accompanies the symptoms pushes it over the top. An ambitious failure, but it has its fans.
