Aroview: Stark yet salubrious cautionary tale of wayward youth set in the Chelsea beatnik scene, where "wild and drunken partying" and a brooding Oliver Reed lead an enigmatic young woman down the road to ruin. Jazz grooves courtesy of John Barry, while fellow Bond-film alumni, Guy Hamilton, directs.

2 stars (Good Try) Read the BFI booklet accompanying the film describing the film's problems with the censors - it was made in 1963 but could only be released in 1965 in a version which Guy Hamilton disowned. The 1963 pre-release version is available.~tubbs
