5 stars (Exceptional) An Adventure In Space And Time is a lovely period piece. The script and David Bradley together depict William Hartnell as high-maintenance but sympathetic. Smudge of fan service at the end, but you don't necessarily have to be a fan to enjoy it. ~Truant
