Aroview: Compelling sci-fi drama in which New Zealand stands in for the pastoral American South, set in the wake of a nuclear war that wipes out most of civilization, two men and a woman find themselves in an emotionally charged love triangle as the last known survivors.
Though this represents a very loose (and belated) adaptation of Robert C. O'Brien's popular young adult novel from 1974, this is a refreshingly thoughtful entry in the current wave of post-apocalyptic films rich in thematic elements. Margot Robbie impresses in her first lead performance.

2 stars (Good Try) If there are only 3 people left on earth you would think they would seize the opportunity to play darts and the chance to be world champion. Frustratingly instead they stuff around building a water wheel. ~Tubbs
