“Watching this movie is like freebasing sincerity — a scarce resource in our current entertainment hellscape. It’ll give you warm fuzzies for days.”~Village Voice

Aroview: The director of 20 FEET FROM STARDOM explores the life, lessons, and legacy of iconic children's television host, Fred Rogers, whose show "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" ran for over three decades as a staple of public TV stations around the US from the late 1960's.

Though the show did not air on New Zealand screens, there's plenty here for those who haven't heard of Rogers but have an interest in child-rearing and child psychology. It's a moving story of a man who fought the good fight for education armed with a suite of sock puppets, an array of colourful cardigans, and a bottomless well of compassion and empathy.
