Aroview: Daydreaming bureaucrat Jonathan Pryce becomes unwittingly involved with an underground superhero and a mystery woman before falling victim to his own romantic illusions.
The director's Monty Python roots shine through in this hugely ambitious, incredibly bizarre futuristic black comedy. This tanked at the box office, but in finest cult tradition, is more greatly appreciated the more times you see it.

4 stars (Very Good) A Gilliam sci-fi epic, this tale is both bizarre and darkly funny, appreciated it seems, only by its cult fan following. ~Tom H

4 stars (Very Good) I can't recall any quiet moments - the action seems continuous. The casting contains quality & helps get across the comedy part of the screenplay. The highlight for me however is the futuristic set designs & the imaginative use of lighting by the camera. ~Tubbs
