Aroview: Bill Pullman is Darryl Zero, a bizarre millionaire-genius gumshoe hired by business tycoon Ryan O'Neal to track down his blackmailer, while straight man Ben Stiller arbitrates the deal. I t's Sherlock Holmes given the film school geek update - a shame it's so self-consciously zany, overwritten and way too long. There might have been something here if the 22-year-old director gave himself enough time to lose his training wheels, and directing Dad (Lawrence Kasdan) hadn't been so hasty to give him the money.
