5 stars (Exceptional) A slimy Kirk Douglas, a cool-as-silk Mitchum, and Greer as the perfect femme fatale. Visual poetry by Tourneur as he tells the tale of a man falling by his poor choices. The best noir you never saw. ~Pop&Coffee
