Aroview: Disillusioned Democrat senator Warren Beatty warrants his own assassination, then stirs up a storm of controversy by fearlessly speaking his mind at public engagements, even adopting a rapping style to deliver his speeches.
His new-found respect and huge cult status amongst the black community soon prompts a change of heart about his imminent suicide. Beatty's project has a decent scratch at the respectable veneer of Democrat party platitudes, even if its impact is slightly blunted by a comic conventionality.
