Planning their 'last days' in a dingy hotel after one becomes terminally ill, the conjoined brothers engage the sympathy as well as services of a kindly prostitute. Forlorn and rather static, it misses some of rich pickings that the subject offers, but is finely crafted and imbued with a 'Lynch-esque' sense of buttoned-down macabre.

3 stars (Good Enough) The screenplay is uneven but without wanting to sound crass it is unusual & importantly keeps the melodrama to a minimum. There are some fine humorous touches that help alleviate the depressing soundtrack although the end credits are worth listening to. ~Tubbs
