Aroview: A fanciful yet elegant take on what might have transpired during the making of silent horror classic, NOSFERATU, centred around a battle of wills between obsessed director F.W. Murnau (John Malkovich) and eccentric 'method' actor Max Shreck (Willem Dafoe).

The amusing conceit is that Shreck was in fact a vampire impersonating an actor, so it isn't long before he starts draining the cast as well as the director's patience. While short on real substance, it is a precisely crafted and evocative 'homage', embodied in Dafoe's studied and beautifully made-up portrayal.
