Rating: [M]
Genres: Foreign Cinema, Drama / Romance
Topics: Period 1960s.
Aroview: As in DAYS OF BEING WILD, dir. Wong Kar-Wai portrays the languor of a 1960s Hong Kong in which two neighbours discover their respective spouses are having an affair.
Sensuously evoking a limbo of discontent, longing and erotic attraction with a consummate eye to style and mood. Songs by Nat King Cole.

4 stars (Very Good) Chow, a newspaper editor, and his wife move into a new appartment. He finds himself drawn to a neighbour, Li-zhen, wife of an often absent businessman. Only to discover their respective spouses are having an affair. Exquisitely beautiful & very moody. ~GenXGirl
4 stars (Very Good) Beautiful film ~Catapillar
1 star (Turkey) The true romance & grit of Hong Kong are lacking. As its filmed in Bangkok & Cambodia I found it bogus & manipulative. Great lighting, incredible angles & fine print dresses divert attention but I kept wondering where she kept them all. ~Sandy
