Lured

Aroview: Earlier work in the oeuvre of cult director Douglas Sirk isn’t up there with his later masterworks but is more than just a footnote, with a first rate cast. Mix of light and dark tones works well, with taxi-dancer Lucille Ball baiting a ‘lonely hearts’ serial killer for the London police. In fact a remake of a Robert Siomak film, ‘Personal Column’ (1939).
