Business of Strangers, The

Aroview: In what amounts to a gender-flip of “In the Company of Men”, Stocking Channing and Julia Stiles are business women polarized by money, maturity and values but brought together for a fateful, revelatory all-nighter in a luxury business hotel.

This polished independent production is a high-minded, theatre-style chamber piece, but the director’s script feels as though it hasn’t treaded the boards enough to really capitalize on its promising premise or support the calibre and dedication of the actors.
