Aroview: A collection of nine animated short films by various top ‘anime’ directors set within the backstory to THE MATRIX movie, some directly detailing the history of the man vs. machine conflict, others related only in an incidental way.
Understandably varying in quality, the highlights are ‘Final Flight of the Osiris’ which features excellent CGI graphics, and ‘A Detective Story’, a noir piece, though the segments offer an interesting array of visual styles.
