Aroview: Essentially a showdown over the ownership of a house between an abandoned wife and a stoic Iranian immigrant, this throws up a compelling, if foggy, air of melodrama

Having failed to pay back-taxes the suicidal Connelly is forced from her family home, which the hard-nosed Kingsley picks up cheap at auction. So begins a legal and increasingly personal wrestling of strong wills, which despite some rather artificial moralising, introduces enough unexpected turns of events to carry one right to the pessemistic finale.
