50 First Dates

Aroview: A curious Hawaiian-set romcom with marine biologist Sandler wooing Barrymore - trouble is she has short-term amnesia (because of an accident), which means she never remembers him in followup dates.

While never quite gelling, the scenario does play off the interesting chemistry of the leads, though with Sandler on his best behaviour here, its left to the support cast (Schneider, Astin) to keep up the entertaining slew of un-PC joke-mongering.
