Making Venus

Aroview: A filmmaking 'horror story' which recounts the saga of Australian indie feature "The Venus Factory", from optimistic inception in 1997 to bedraggled re-edited release 'sometime soon'.

Setting out with a decent budget, two award-winning creative minds soon find themselves mired in crew and union difficulties and problems with stretching their ideas into the requisite form. Eventually their footage is taken from their hands and the project still faces an uncertain future five years later.
