Aroview: Standard-issue thriller, with Bogie playing a gun-runner who tangles with the Syrian authorities, French occupiers and an underground movement in a murky case of 1920s Middle Eastern intrigue. A few cynically good moments, but is hampered somewhat by its familiarity.
