Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The
Aroview: Maintaining the comic wonderstuff and special British eccentricity of Douglas Adams' original novel (and radio and TV spin-offs), this 'trans-Atlantic' big screen adaptation delivers as much as fans could hope for while sure to considerably widen the HHGTTG cult.
Already fully-formed as a brilliantly imaginative concept, this comes to renewed life with a raft of inspired casting choices and a jauntier pace. May have those expecting a join-the-dots "sci-fi comedy" scratching their heads, but other intelligent lifeforms will give a certified 'thumbs up' to its deft mix of genre parody and philosophical satire.
