Billy plays a radio personality who settles into small town life with his Australian wife (Ilona Rogers) and her brother (Mark Hadlow). Features a host of guest appearances by some of NZ's best performers, and music by world-famous-in-New Zealand pop band, "Herbs".

The three volumes available span 18 episodes, with Vol. 2 featuring his final TV show, the hour-long Christmas Special.
