Aroview: Boldly spelled out in its full title, this provocative (and possibly profound) documentary convincingly mounts a thesis around the issue of "Peak Oil" and how this crisis may result in radically changing material life in the West.
Alarmingly topical as the price of oil continues to climb in an unstable world environment, this airs compelling evidence and conjecture from many credible sources, including business executives, journalists and sociologists. Aiming broader than the political left, this extends interest to suburban and urbanites of all persuasions, and in particular to those interested in speculative concepts and social sciences. And if the collaborators have done their job right, it might even change your life...

3 stars (Good Enough) This would have been better described as "Peak Oil". Yes, that implies the end of suburbia but it didn't really deal with the impact that expensive petrol will have on our daily lives. Interesting enough but no more. ~Anon
Includes the bonus archival short films, "In the Suburbs" and "Destination Earth".
