Fight For Your Life
Aroview: A racist hillbilly and two sadistic jail-breakers terrorize a black minister and his family, who eventually fight back and take bloody revenge.
Stealing its plot from Bogart's THE DESPERATE HOURS, this willfully provocative grindhouse flick gained notoriety on the exploitation circuit, double-billing with SNUFF (the film, not the genre) and more innocuous Kung-Fu flicks. Though less brutal than bonafide nasties like LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT and I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, this is more shocking in the dialogue department, with colourful racist tirades used as a tool of oppression, though often to blackly comic effect.
