Aroview: A narcoleptic comic-book writer finds illusion and reality blurring between his fantastical imagination, a succession of dead-end day jobs, and a lively home and social life.

Amid all the narrative slippages, this succeeds in drawing a stylish and entertaining package, even if the precocious film-makers can't quite keep their narrative awake. Newcomer Guillaume Canet commands great screen presence, and there's a nice cameo from Jean-Claude Van Damme.
