Playing on parental and post-9/11 paranoias, this expertly weaves its concealed narrative with a tightly structured script and smooth visualisations. After several twists, the story does admittedly hinge on a more conventional thriller backstory, but the elegance of the performances and filmmaking carries this safely back to ground.
