Saw 2
Aroview: The devious villain of SAW - Jigsaw - returns with another nasty, everyone-loses trap involving a secured mansion, nerve gas and jagged-edged cutting tools into which are let loose a new batch of victims.
This time a detective (Wahlberg) is onto the killer, but must win a fragile battle of wits in order to rescue his teenage son from the chamber of horrors. Somewhat rushed out - to capitalise on the unexpected success of its predecessor - this lacks its vicious simplicity but replicates the red grisliness with images that are hard to shake off...

2 stars (Good Try) SAW II takes most of what was effective and 'good' about SAW, but fails to add much more than a few more sadistic scenes and cringy moments. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) Tobin Bell is the only saving grace. ~Tubbs
