King of Bollywood

Aroview: A tongue-in-cheek satire of the Bollywood movie industry, in which a star (Puri) with notions of his own timeless importance becomes aware that his legacy is fading.

When a young British filmmaker (Dahl) comes to India, he tries to coax his reluctant son (Kapoor) to take up the mantle of stardom. With a knowing sense of the occasional pomposity of Bollywood musicals, this presents a refreshingly ironic self-reflection.
