Empire of the Wolves

Aroview: Jean Reno plays a brutal French policeman brought out of 'compulsory retirement' to hunt for the murderers of some Turkish labourers in Paris.

He discovers a bizarre (if not quite silly) plot concerning gangs, illegal immigrants, brainwashing and extreme facial makeovers. But, if one ignores the improbability, this revels in a stylish suspense setup, yielding some almost MATRIX-like manipulated imagery and a few loping chase scenes.
