Arktos: The Inner Journey of Mike Horn

Aroview: A documentary about South African-born adventurer Mike Horn, who in 2002 set out to circumnavigate the Arctic Circle - mostly against the prevailing wind and water currents - using a variety of means: skis, sleds, kayaks, even a kite at one point, which enabled him to travel at speeds of 100kmph over icebergs.

This endurance exercise cost Horn several fingers (when he took of his gloves to change his boots at -45 C) and after numerous other obstacles, eventually took two years to complete. As a depiction of extreme human determination this film will be of especial interest to extreme sports fans.
