Aroview: Much of the cast of the first season of this phenomenal HBO crime drama return for another complex delve into the Baltimore crime scene.

This time around Detective McNulty (West) is transferred to river security and becomes embroiled in a ugly web of dockyard corruption, prostitution and various political disputes, while the ghosts of the earlier drug case continue to haunt the Baltimore streets. As before the creators create an utterly addictive level of detail in depicting criminal and police procedures.
