Aroview: Gothic-tinged telemovie from the son of Mario Bava, which severs any connection with previous DEMONS films with the tale of an American novelist (Bryant) who travels with her family to get some peace and quiet at a sinister Italian castle, of course the residence of a Renaissance-era demonic ogre. Incomprehensible storyline is somehow its own nightmarish reward.

3 stars (Good Enough) The basic plot is good & although the screenplay doesn't do it justice there are some unnerving moments which are well portrayed on Bryant's face. There is a good musical score & set designs with the cobweb & dust people doing an excellent job. ~Tubbs
