Last Drop, The

Aroview: Competent, if not exactly scintillating, suspenser in which a group of allied soldiers are airdropped into Europe to steal gold and other treasures of the Netherlands before they are ransacked by the marauding Nazis.

Initially decimated by enemy firepower, a trio of survivors limp onwards on their mission to rendevous with local resistance, only to stumble across a pair of German deserters with the same heist in mind for themselves. A few black comic stylings add distinction amid a welter of cliche.
