That this classic doozy is essentially a springboard for extended ribald humour, allows dir. Provenza to sustain this 'one-joke' film for tis entire length. Yielding some delirious sexual and scatalogical fantasias, the ponderings of all involved also accumulate a fair level of insight into the workings of the human funny bone, even when stimulated by this most offensive material.
