Aroview: Conventional and well-handled drama series set in the once-booming factory town of Empire Falls, Maine, and mostly getting down in among the complex personal network of a genial, if frustrated diner owner (Harris).

While Harris has various personal dramas to deal with - eg. his ex-wife (Hunt) wants sole custody of their daughter - the wider story concerns efforts to get the town on its economic feet again. Blessed with a superlative cast, this achieves a satisfying richness beyond the rather old-fashioned material.
